Dutch maritime cooperative Coöperatie Bebeka U.A. is recruiting for a senior bunker trader and technical advisor position, targeting candidates with shipping industry experience and maritime backgrounds.

The Groningen-based organization said it is seeking professionals with at least five years of experience in bunker trading or shipping, with maritime officer or engineer backgrounds considered advantageous. The role combines commercial trading responsibilities with technical advisory services for fuel supply operations.

The position involves coordinating between shipping companies, fuel suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure vessels receive appropriate fuels on schedule and in compliance with regulations. Bebeka noted that candidates with maritime officer, engineer, or related technical experience would be preferred due to their understanding of operational realities.

Applicants should hold higher professional education qualifications, preferably in maritime or logistics fields such as Maritime Officer, Maritime Technology, or Logistics Management. Strong commercial and technical skills are also required for the role.

The position offers flexible working arrangements, including hybrid and remote options.

Interested candidates can apply via email to k.themmen@bebeka.nl. Additional inquiries can be directed to team leader Harm Jan Brinks at hj.brinks@bebeka.nl.
