Bunker firms Glander and Praxis seek Singapore trader


Both companies looking to employ trading team member in city-state.

Singapore-based marine fuel trading outfits Glander International Bunkering Pte Ltd and Praxis Energy Agents Pte Ltd are both on the lookout for a bunker trader.

According to an online job posting on November 23, Praxis is looking to employ a trader with experience in the shippping industry, ideally bunkering. The company also highlights the ability to communicate in Mandarin or Hindi as a preference.

Glander's newly available position - posted on November 25 - is for a junior bunker trader. The successful candidate will be tasked with identifying new clients, building and strengthening relationships with shipping clients and discovering new market opportunities.

According to Glander's website, the Singapore office currently employs seven dedicated traders, an offshore supply manager and a finance manager - in addition to its managing director Felix Teo. The company can be contacted on +65 6275 8861.

Praxis, meanwhile, lists its team as comprising two bunker traders, a trading manager, two accountants and its general manager Nikos Siakavaras. The company's phone number is +65 6403 3500.
