Dan-Bunkering says it is looking to employ an experienced finance professional to fill the role of Financial Business Partner at its office in Hellerup/Copenhagen.

About the job

As Financial Business Partner you will work closely with the top management team, and your main responsibility will be to support various business areas with financial insights and translate business initiatives into financial effects. You will be attending company management meetings and working closely together with the operational and commercial functions. Furthermore, you will collect information from offices around the world. This involves travelling to our subsidiaries on an ad hoc basis with up to 40 travelling days per year to be expected.

The following tasks will be part of the responsibility:

- Providing general outline to Dan-Bunkering management;

- Ensuring that the strategy and operational targets are in line with the budget by involving and challenging local management in our offices;

- Working together with MD's, finance managers and trading managers in the group;

- Proactive support in operational and commercial functions;

- Tracking of sales and cost performance - follow-up and forecast planning;

- Evaluating and supporting KPI reporting in Dan-Bunkering;

- Understanding business processes and linking them to financial transactions and reporting, as well as establishing new processes;

- Working with projects (business case development, investment applications, project cost controlling and governance);

- Producing presentations for board, management, employees etc;

- Providing suggestions and solutions based on analysis to the management and business units.

About you

You are an experienced management consultant, business analyst or business controller with a relevant financial bachelor's or master's degree. You have strong stakeholder management skills and are good in interacting with the business. You are able to translate complex topics and issues into clear messages and communicate them. Experience within Navision and Power BI is an advantage. You are responsible and treasure teamwork, but also enjoy working independently in your contact with stakeholders in the organisation. You seek the most optimal solutions and make things happen. You communicate fluently in Danish and English, both orally and in writing.
