World Fuel seeks marine fuel sales executive in Singapore


Role requires more than five years' experience in bunkering, trading, energy or commodities.

World Fuel Services (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. has advertised a vacancy for a Sales Executive, Marine Fuel, to be based in Singapore, according to a job posting on LinkedIn.

According to the listing, the successful candidate would be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing new customer accounts and expanding business with existing clients across the marine sector. The role also covers managing fuel transactions from pricing through delivery and post-trade support, as well as monitoring market trends, pricing dynamics and competitor activity to inform trading decisions.

The position would require collaboration with operations, supply and credit teams “to ensure seamless delivery, mitigate risk, and maintain customer satisfaction,” World Fuel said, adding that the successful applicant would also oversee customer credit exposure alongside credit control teams and resolve operational issues and claims.

World Fuel is looking for candidates with more than five years of commercial experience in marine fuel, trading or a related energy or commodities sector, along with a track record in sales, business development or trading. A degree in maritime studies, business, finance or a related field would be preferred, though not required.
