Bunker broking firm launched in Connecticut

New company is headed by experienced bunker professional Sandi Ennor.

A new bunker broking business, Transparensea Fuels LLC, has been launched in Connecticut, United States.

The company is headed by president Sandra (Sandi) Ennor, who has worked for Connecticut-based companies in the marine fuel industry over the last 10 years.

Prior to setting up Transparensea, Ennor had been employed as trading manager at Peninsula Petroleum since 2014. Before that, she served as senior trader and broker at Integr8 Fuels and was broker at LQM Petroleum.

Ennor is a U.S. Naval Academy graduate and decorated combat veteran; she served as a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Navy before joining the bunker industry.

"With experience as a broker, trader, buyer and on the physical supply side, Sandi & Transparensea Fuels will be able to bring to the market a purely independent brokerage model with insight into the entire bunker procurement process," the company explains on its website.
