Bunker panel discussion at upcoming New York event


Event to be attended by senior executives from the bunker industry.



Senior executives from major listed shipping companies involved with the LPG shipping, LNG shipping and fuel oil and bunkering sectors will participate on sector panel discussions at Capital Link's New York Maritime Forum, due to be held at New York's Metropolitan Club on Tuesday, 13th September, organized in partnership with DNB.

The forum will also feature panel discussions on other shipping sectors, such as dry bulk, containers, product tanker, crude oil tanker and fuel oil as well as on other topics of critical significance for the industry, such as bank finance, capital markets, restructuring, insurance and private equity.

Due to attend the event are government and business leaders and senior executives from the transportation, energy, logistics and maritime related sectors.

This forum is both an investment and industry conference. Besides discussing trends, developments and investment opportunities in the global maritime industry and related sectors, it also aims to highlight the significance of New York as a maritime center and attract more maritime related business to the area.

Forum overview and structure

The event is organized in partnership with DNB and in cooperation with the New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ, the Empire State Development, the New York City Economic Development Corporation and The Port Authority of NY & NJ.

The event is an initiative that aims to highlight the significance of New York as a maritime center and attract more maritime related business to the area, while also discussing trends, developments and investment opportunities in the global maritime industry and related sectors.

Fuel oil & bunkering panel

This panel will discuss the trends and developments in the fuel oil and bunkering sector, such as demand and supply fundamentals, freight rates and asset values, trading routes, access to capital and sector outlook.
