Crude:

U.S. industry data showed crude stockpiles expanded for the world's biggest consumer. As per American Petroleum Institute (API) report, U.S. crude stocks climbed by 6.3 million barrels last week. Meanwhile, crude stockpiles at Cushing, Oklahoma, the delivery point for WTI and the biggest U.S. oil-storage hub, rose by 2.47 million barrels through Nov. 6.

It forecasts that refinery utilization rates rose by 0.5 percentage points last week. Units operating at 89.2 percent of capacity, the most since September.

The Energy Information Administration (EIA) will issue its official inventory data on Thursday, a day later than usual due to the U.S. Veterans Day holiday on Wednesday.

Iran offered new discounts to Asian customers for its light oil exports - the sign that an aggressive battle for market share continues.
