Singapore 380 cSt price summary: week 37

A summary of weekly Singapore 380 centistoke (cSt) prices.

The end-of-week price of 380 centistoke (cSt) intermediate fuel oil (IFO) at the port of Singapore fell for the first time in two weeks on Friday, according to Bunker Index price data.

The Singapore 380 cSt bunker price was down by $22.50, or 8.9 percent, to $231.00 per tonne on September 11 compared with $253.50 per tonne on September 4. Prices were unchanged today - despite yesterday's $1.31 jump in Brent crude and a $1.77 rise in WTI crude - as the Singapore market has been closed due to the general election public holiday.

The $22.50 decline is the most significant since the trading week ending on August 21, when a $25.50 drop was recorded. This week's decrease also means that the price of 380 cSt in Singapore has fallen in 12 out of the last 13 weeks, and in 14 out of the last 16 weeks.

Please find a summary of end-of-week Singapore 380 cSt prices below (in US$ per tonne) since the start of the year.
