Bunker broking company launched in Dubai


Operation is headed by experienced bunker professional Jesper Jervild.



A new bunker broking company, Liberty Marine FZ LLE, has been launched in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The firm is headed by founder and managing director Jesper Jervild [pictured], who has over 20 years' experience in the marine fuel industry.

Prior to launching Liberty Marine in January, Jervild worked as director of Dynamic Oil Trading's operation in Dubai between February and November 2014.

Jervild was at OW Bunker for over 20 years. He joined the firm in 1992 and held a number of positions, including time spent in the company's Denmark and Singapore offices.

Jervild was branch manager at OW Bunker South Africa (Pty) Ltd, Cape Town, between June 2007 and March 2011 and was later promoted to the role of Regional Manager for the Middle East and South Africa in March 2011, where he was based in Dubai.
