Dan-Bunkering trader moves to Dubai

Experienced trader will form part of Dan-Bunkering's new trading team in the United Arab Emirates.

A/S Dan-Bunkering Ltd. - part of A/S United Shipping & Trading Company (USTC) group - has announced that bunker trader Pooja Sangani [pictured] is relocating to the United Arab Emirates for the launch of the company's new office in Dubai, scheduled to open in July.

Commenting on the news, Søren Høll, Head of Operations Europe/Asia, said: "Pooja has been involved in various fields of the bunker business, and with her local background she will be a great asset to our new office with the focus on strengthening our position in the Middle Eastern and South Asian markets."

Sangani joined Dan-Bunkering in September 2011. Prior to this, she worked for physical supply firm Zad Fuel in Dubai, where she was employed for 3 years and 8 months.

Dan-Bunkering's new Dubai office will be headed by managing director Kasper Fulton Stiedl, who has been an employee with Dan-Bunkering for 17 years and began as a trainee in Copenhagen, Denmark, back in 1996. His appointment was officially announced at the end of April.
