The average price of marine gas oil (MGO) at the port of Singapore increased at a faster rate than ICE Gas Oil in August 2012, according to Bunker Index price data.

The ICE Gas Oil settlement average rose by $76.52 per tonne, or 8.59 percent, to $967.1 per tonne in the month of August. During the same period, the Singapore MGO average climbed $92 per tonne, or 10.6 percent, to $960 per tonne.
