Singapore group acquires bunker tanker

Tanker newbuild to carry our bunker deliveries in the Singapore market.

Nomanbhoy & Sons Pte Ltd. has acquired the bunker tanker Sophie 9, which is shortly due to commence carrying out deliveries of marine fuels to bunker buyers in the Singapore market.

The 6,200 deadweight tonne (dwt) vessel is a newbuild from a Chinese shipyard.

Singapore-based Nomanbhoy & Sons has been involved in the spice trade business since 1914. The group owns both DH Marine Pte Ltd. and bunker trading firm I&C International Pte Ltd..
