Carbon War Room to host presentation

Webinar to be held later this week to present ship efficiency initiative.

Carbon War Room has announced that it will be hosting a second webinar presentation of its website Shippingefficiency.org for stakeholders.

The website uses data compiled by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to categorize 60,000 ships based on standardized efficiency indices, providing free environmental ratings from A to G, with A being the most efficient.

Since its launch, the site is said to have received an average 15,000 unique users per month and 1,750 registered users. The Carbon War Room’s first webinar in January attracted over 150 participants.

The second webinar will take place on Thursday 17th March at:

8am PDT / 11am EDT
3pm GMT / 4pm CET

Panellists Peter Boyd, COO Carbon War Room and Elena Craft, air quality specialist at Environmental Defense Fund, will be hosting a Q&A session after the presentation.

Interested parties can register at www.shippingefficiency.org/webinars-and-events or by emailing kastley@carbonwarroom.com.
