Cyprus-based Global Bunkering Ltd. has announced that it has added a new barge to support its bunker supply operations at the Black Sea port of Kerch.

Located at the western entrance to the Azov Sea on the Crimean peninsula, Kerch is a significant shipping location on the east side of the Black Sea.

Global Bunkering has been supplying at Kerch since June using its company-owned barge the m/t Delfi.

Speaking to Bunker Index, Global Bunkering confirmed that it has now chartered the mt Hilda to support sales growth at the port since launching two months ago.

The total storage capacity of the barges is 2x1500 metric tonnes with a pumping capability of 200-300 metric tonnes per hour.

Global Bunkering is able to offer 0.1% sulphur marine gas oil (MGO) and 180-centistoke (cst) according to ISO 8217/2005 specifications

The company said its vessels are operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
