Seasoned professional joins Glander


US firm Glander appoints ex-fuel procurement specialist and fleet manager.



US-based Glander International has announced that it has appointed Robert Love to become a member of its bunker broking team.

Robert has extensive work experience in the petroleum and marine industries having been employed for the last 12 years as a fuel procurement specialist and fleet manager.

His previous work experience includes working for Moran Towing Corporation, where he managed port operations at the Port of Miami.

Robert was also employed as Fuel Commodity Manager for Royal Caribbean Cruises and Celebrity Cruise Lines where he managed fleet fuel purchasing and is said to have initiated several unique fuel cost reduction programmes. He also managed sales for chemical tankers in the Caribbean basin for Atlantic Petroleum in New York.

Robert has an MBA and BSBA in Business Management and International Business.
