Equatorial Marine Fuel Management Services Pte. Ltd. (Equatorial) has received two sustainability recognitions in 2026, reflecting efforts to improve its environmental practices and carbon reporting.
The Singapore-based marine fuels company was awarded the 2026 LowCarbonSG Teal Blue Participant Logo under a programme administered by the UN Global Compact Network Singapore. The recognition followed verification of Equatorial’s Carbon and Emissions Recording Tool (CERT) submission covering the January to December 2025 reporting period. The LowCarbonSG programme is designed to support companies in tracking and managing their carbon emissions as part of Singapore’s national sustainability agenda.
Separately, Equatorial received an EcoVadis Bronze Medal following its 2026 sustainability assessment. According to Equatorial, the result places it in the top 35% of companies assessed by EcoVadis — an improvement over its previous score. The EcoVadis assessment framework covers environmental practices, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
"Both recognitions reflect work carried out across the company over the past year to improve its sustainability practices and reporting," the bunker supplier stated, adding that it continues to align its operations with Singapore’s low-carbon ambitions.
