FLEX Commodities appoints Anthi Tsigkou as general counsel


Dubai-based trader brings in maritime law specialist with more than 15 years of industry experience.

Flex Commodities DMCC has appointed Anthi S Tsigkou as general counsel, strengthening its legal leadership as the company continues to expand its global operations.

Tsigkou brings more than 15 years of experience across maritime law, shipping finance, compliance and complex cross-border transactions.

Her professional background includes work in vessel financing, sanctions and regulatory frameworks, marine insurance, and corporate governance.

In her previous role, Tsigkou served as legal executive and coordinator at Akron Trade and Transport.

Tsigkou’s new employer said her experience will play a key role in supporting its growth strategy and navigating the regulatory and legal complexities associated with international maritime and commodities trading.

Headquartered in Dubai, Flex Commodities is a marine fuels trading and cargo logistics company with staff also based in Greece and Singapore.
