The International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) will hold its 2026 annual convention in New York from 10-12 November, the organisation announced on 15 April.
The event will mark the return of IBIA’s flagship global gathering to the United States and bring the convention to the Americas.
According to the association, the convention will once again bring together senior decision-makers and technical specialists from across the bunker industry. IBIA said the event remains a key platform for insight, collaboration and industry engagement.
The organisation explained that the choice of New York reflects broader shifts taking place across the marine energy sector and the direction in which market discussions and opportunities are evolving.
IBIA added that it intends to deliver a 2026 programme that is globally relevant, commercially grounded and forward-looking.
Further details about the convention programme and registration are expected to be released in the coming months.
The IBIA annual convention typically attracts bunker suppliers, ship operators, fuel producers and other stakeholders from across the marine fuel supply chain.
