Bunker Index launches Med IFO 380 Index (Press Release)


New 380-centistoke pricing benchmark for the Mediterranean is launched.



Bunker Index is pleased to announce the launch of the Med IFO 380 Index (ABP), the new pricing benchmark for 380-centistoke (cst) marine fuel in the Mediterranean.

Launched today, the Med IFO 380 Index (ABP) is calculated as the Average Bunker Price (ABP) for 380-centistoke (cst) fuel at the ports of Algeciras, Augusta, Ceuta, Fos, Genoa, Gibraltar, Istanbul, Limassol, Off Malta and Piraeus.

Med IFO 380 Index prices will be published on a daily basis at the following times:

12:30 GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) / UCT/UTC (Universal Coordinated Time)
13:30 BST (British Summer Time) / WET (Western European Time)
14:30 CET (Central European Time)
15:30 EET (Eastern European Time)
07:30 EST (Eastern Standard Time)
04:30 PST (Pacific Standard Time)
