Nordic Marine Oil hires new vessel operator


Bunker firm says appointing Yulia Tyurenkova is a direct result of recent growth and expansion plans.



Nordic Marine Oil A/S has appointed Yulia Tyurenkova as its new vessel operator as of July 3.

Tyurenkova has more than three years' experience in vessel operation and bunker trading. She has a master's degree from the University of Aalborg and is fluent in Russian, English and Danish.

"She will strengthen our sales team and be of great benefit to our customers. Hiring Yulia is a natural consequence of the group's growth with now four bunker barges operating off Skaw and our future expansion plans," the company said in a statement.
