Glander International Bunkering promotes three traders

Traders in Dubai, Mumbai and Singapore promoted to the role of Senior Bunker/Lubricant Trader and Team Leader.

Glander International Bunkering has announced that it has internally promoted three traders at its offices in Dubai, Mumbai, and Singapore to the role of Senior Bunker/Lubricant Trader and Team Leader.

Dubai

Based in Dubai, Martin Leo was one of the first candidates to join the group's internship programme in 2014 and consecutively graduated six months later to become a bunker and lubricant trader.

"Leo's strong vision and ability to motivate all around him warrants his promotion to Senior Bunker/Lubricant Trader and Team Leader," the company said.

Mumbai

Abhinav Chaturvedi has served as a trader at Glander International Bunkering since 2015 and is said to have played "an integral role" in establishing the company's office in Mumbai.

Explaining the reason for the promotion, Glander International Bunkering noted: "His dedication to the team and enthusiasm for the job makes him the perfect candidate for Senior Bunker/Lubricant Trader and Team Leader in the Mumbai office."

Singapore

Stuart Huang Weirong joined the Singapore office in 2013 as a bunker and lubricant trader.

Glander International Bunkering said: "Weirong has grown with the business and shown the skills and willingness required to become a strong team leader, confirming that his promotion to Senior Bunker/Lubricant Trader and Team Leader is well suited."

Commenting on the promotions, CEO Carsten Ladekjaer remarked: "As a fast-growing bunkering firm operating in an ever-changing marketplace, it is imperative that we value our strongest assets, our staff. We will continue to focus on building a high-performing team by recruiting the correct people for the job and consecutively retaining and recognising those hires."
