A summary of weekly Singapore 380 centistoke (cSt) prices.



The price of 380 centistoke (cSt) intermediate fuel oil (IFO) at the port of Singapore recorded a week-on-week rise on Thursday, according to Bunker Index price data, with the trading week ending one day early due to the New Year's Day holiday.

The Singapore 380 cSt bunker price was up $7.00, or 4.2 percent, to $173.00 per tonne on December 31, compared with $166.00 per tonne on December 24. It is the second consecutive week-on-week rise.

Daily increases of $4.00 and $6.00 - recorded on Monday and Wednesday respectively - outweighed today's decline of $3.00 and Tuesday's unchanged assessment price.

The $7.00 rise is the most significant in 12 weeks - since the week ending October 9.

During the month of December, the 380 cSt price in Singapore only rose in 6 days out of 22. Since November 30, 380 cSt has plummeted $44.50, or 20.4 percent, from $217.50 to $173.00.
