A summary of weekly Singapore 380 centistoke (cSt) prices.



The price of 380 centistoke (cSt) intermediate fuel oil (IFO) at the port of Singapore recorded a week-on-week rise on Thursday, according to Bunker Index price data, with the trading week ending one day early due to the Christmas Day holiday.

The Singapore 380 cSt bunker price was up just $0.50, or 0.3 percent, to $166.00 per tonne on December 24, compared with $165.00 per tonne on December 18. It is the first week-on-week increase in the last four weeks.

Daily decreases of $5.50 and $4.00 - recorded on Monday and Wednesday respectively - were outweighed by price rises of $3.50 and $6.50, seen on Tuesday and Thursday. The increases were the first since December 10 and follow a period of 8 successive daily increments between December 11 and December 21.

The $0.50 (0.3 percent) price change in week 52 is the least significant in 17 weeks - since the week ending August 28.

So far during the month of December, the 380 cSt price in Singapore has only risen in 4 days out of 18 during a sustained period of price drops. Since November 30, 380 cSt has plummeted $51.50, or 23.7 percent, from $217.50 to $166.00.
