Lukoil launches lubricants warehouse in Gothenburg

Supplier says it has achieved reduced lead time and increased flexibility in the delivery of lubricants to clients in Scandinavia.

Lukoil Marine Lubricants has announced that it has opened a new warehouse in Gothenburg, Sweden.

In a statement, the company explained that, with the new Gothenburg warehouse, it has achieved reduced lead time and increased flexibility when delivering lubricants to vessels calling at Scandinavian ports.

The company serves the Scandinavian market from its office in Hamburg, where its order managers handle customer requests and carry out order processing.

In cooperation with its new logistics partner, Tjosab AB, Lukoil says it has managed to improve the availability of its product range in the Scandinavian market.

"The staff of Lukoil Marine Lubricants is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that the customers receive excellent service. They are available at all times - 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, and customers will experience excellent operational support developed by people, who know the business," the lubricant supplier said.

Lukoil Marine Lubricants - a subsidiary of Russian oil giant Lukoil - was founded in 2007 as a standalone sales and marketing business focussing on the production and sales of marine lubricants worldwide.

Since then, the company has introduced the first 100 BN cylinder oil as an answer to severe corrosive wear issues for modern engines, and it has also developed iCOlube - an onboard unit for intelligent cylinder oil lubrication.
