Island Oil hires Trading and Operations Officer in Dubai


New appointment has eight years' experience in the shipping industry and previously worked as a chartering broker.



Island Oil (Holdings) Ltd has confirmed the appointment of Fayez Osman [pictured] as Trading and Operations Officer at its office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He will be working alongside newly appointed Head of Trading, Ali Adil.

Osman has 8 years of experience in the shipping industry, a bachelor's degree in maritime studies from Frederick University of Technology, Cyprus, and is said to speak fluent Arabic, English and Greek.

Prior to joining Island Oil, he worked as a chartering broker at Osman Bros Shipping (OBS) Co Ltd, Cyprus (July 2012 to 2014); he was Senior Fleet Personnel Operator at Uniteam Marine Ltd (February 2008 to July 2012); and navigational cadet at Fahel Shipping (January 2006 to January 2008).
