Island Oil appoints Head of Trading in Dubai


Former London-based manager heads Island Oil's trading team in the United Arab Emirates.



Island Oil (Holdings) Ltd has announced the appointment of Ali Adil [pictured] as Head of Trading at its office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Adil has seven years' experience in the bunker industry and also holds a BSc honours degree in engineering management from the University of Hertfordshire, UK.

Prior to joining Island Oil, Adil was Bunker Trading Manager at METF Bunker Services (Agents) Ltd, London, between July 2009 and September 2014. Before that, he was trader at EXMOL in Dubai between 2008 and 2009.

Adil also has previous experience in commercial shipping operations management, investment fund management and ship management.
