Singapore MGO vs ICE Gas Oil


Analysis of Singapore marine gas oil and ICE Gas Oil prices.



The average price of marine gas oil (MGO) at the port of Singapore dipped slightly in September, whilst the ICE Gas Oil average was marginally higher, according to Bunker Index price data.

The ICE Gas Oil settlement average rose by $4.49 per tonne, or 0.48 percent, to $938.60 per tonne in the month of September. During the same period, the Singapore MGO average dipped by $4.00 per tonne, or 0.44 percent, to $915 per tonne.

Between September 2012 and September 2013, the monthly MGO average in Singapore decreased by $58 per tonne, or 5.96 percent, from $973 to $915 per tonne, whilst the ICE Gas Oil settlement average declined by $47.78 per tonne, or 4.84 percent, from $986.38 to $938.60 per tonne.
