Norwegian Oil Trading launches Singapore operation


New office is headed by branch manager Roger Liau.



Bunker trading and broking firm Norwegian Oil Trading AS has announced that effective September 9 it has commenced operations in Singapore.

The new office is headed by branch manager Roger Liau, who was appointed by the company in June. Prior to joining Norwegian Oil Trading, Liau was bunker trading manager at Garson Marine Pte. Ltd./Gemoil(Singapore) Pte. Ltd. between January 2011 and May 2013. He also worked as bunker trader at Japan Energy(Singapore) Pte. Ltd. between 2009 and 2010 and was a bunker broker at Wilhelmsen Premier Marine Fuels in 2008.

Liau will be assisted by Imelda Neo.

"The presence in Singapore will be a key driver for a continued expansion through Asia and the company is aiming for more people to join in the near future," Norwegian Oil Trading said in an emailed statement.
