First decline in fuel oil stocks in four weeks

Fuel oil inventories decrease in Singapore, but remain at their second-highest level since February 27.

Singapore's onshore stocks of residues rose fell for the first time in four weeks during the seven days up to Wednesday, May 22, according to data released by International Enterprise (IE) Singapore - an agency operating under the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Stockpiles of residues, a category which includes fuel oil and low-sulphur waxy residue and excludes bitumen, decreased by 1.6 million barrels, or 7.2 percent, to 20.7 million barrels.

Despite the decline, the latest weekly figure is still the second-highest inventory level since the week ended February 27.

The 1.6 million-barrel decrease is also the most significant since the week ended March 6, when stocks plummeted 1.8 million barrels to 20 million barrels.

Please find below a table of Singapore's recent onshore stocks of residues up to Wednesday, May 22. The volume data provided is in millions of barrels.

Inventory levels are collated on a weekly basis for each 7-day period ending on a Wednesday.
