BP has posted a vacancy for a Marine Commercial Manager based in London to support the performance, growth and strategic direction of its global marine fuels trading, origination and marketing business.

The role sits within BP Marine, working alongside the company's fuel oil, gasoil and bio trading businesses. It falls under BP's GDIST unit — part of its Trading & Shipping (T&S) division — which trades products including diesel, gasoil, renewable fuels, biofuels, feedstocks, jet fuel and speciality products across global markets.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Global Head of Marine and regional teams, with responsibilities covering business performance reporting, commercial analysis and strategy development. A key aspect of the role involves improving how the business operates, including supporting BP's marine digital agenda and finding process simplification opportunities.

BP is looking for candidates with commercial awareness and experience in trading, strategy or business management environments. Experience in shipping, marine fuels or bunkering is described as advantageous, as is previous leadership or project delivery experience.

The position is offered on a hybrid working basis, with up to 10% travel expected. Relocation assistance within the country is available.
