Yujin sells bunker tanker

Bunker vessel is sold to Singapore-based operator.

Singapore-based Yujin International Ltd., the owner and charterer of a fleet of tankers operating in the Asia Pacific region, has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Yujin Shipping Pte Ltd., has completed the sale of 1995-built 4,606 dwt single hull port limit trading bunker tanker, M/T Gallant.

The purchaser of the vessel was an unnamed Singapore-based operator that paid a total cash consideration of SGD 2.5 million (approximately USD 2.02 million). The vessel has been delivered to her new owners.

Yujin said that the proceeds of the sale would be used to partly repay an existing bank loan and for working capital purposes.

The company's remaining three bunker tankers are currently on time charter. Of the regional tankers, Arcturus is on time charter and Team Bee is operating in the spot market.
