Sing Fuels is seeking a bunker trader to join its Singapore office, according to a job posting by the company.
The role is a full-time position focused on the procurement of marine fuels from suppliers across Asia. According to the posting, the successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating purchase prices and contractual terms with suppliers, as well as tracking market trends and supply chain developments to inform purchasing strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities will include managing operational follow-ups to ensure timely deliveries and administering supplier contracts in line with company policies and industry standards.
The position also requires collaboration with a business manager on post-sales activities and pre- and post-delivery coordination. The new hire will act as a point of contact for customers, suppliers, barge operators, port authorities, and surveyors.
Sing Fuels says it is looking for candidates with a degree or diploma and between two and four years of experience in the bunker trading industry, adding that the role demands the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and operate effectively within a multicultural setting.
