New general manager at Bunkers International

Bunkers International promotes senior trading manager to the role of general manager in Turkey.

Bunkers International Corporation has announced the appointment of Yusuf Dönder as general manager of its office in Turkey.

Dönder replaces Ahmet Cagatay who, according to Bunkers International, left the company to 'pursue other interests'. Dönder has been an employee at the company for over six years as senior trading manager.

Commenting on the promotion of Dönder, John Canal, CEO of Bunkers International, said: "We are excited to have Yusuf Dönder leading our team and we look forward to continued success in our Turkish operation."

Along with the promotion of Dönder, Bunkers International said it will also be expanding its product offering in Turkey to include lubricants.

As part of a restructuring process, the US-headquartered firm said that Bunkers International Dis Tic. Ltd. STI. will be discontinued and will no longer act as an agent for Bunkers International Corp.

The office location and address will remain the same. Customers may continue to reach the company's Istanbul office at +90 216 455 9000 or via email at info@bunkersinternationaltr.com.
