London to host bunker management event


Conference to focus on performance-enhancing options for efficiency maximization and increased profitability.



ACI (Europe) has announced that it is hosting its Optimising Bunker Management & Vessel Efficiency conference in February 2012.

The event, due to be held in London on February 1-2 2012, will examine the performance-enhancing options available to ship owners and ship managers for efficiency maximization and increased profitability.

Special focus will be put on how to maximize existing vessel’s profitability, the tools for measuring performance and specific fuel efficiency improving equipment. The event will analyse how to increase overall efficiency and performance by minimizing the fleet’s energy demands.

ACI's agenda summary is as follows:

-Discover advancements in fuel quality testing methods.

-Understand the available performance-enhancing options for your existing fleet.

-Examine fuel-saving technologies and vessel performance improvements.

-Learn how ship performance monitoring devices have improved ship efficiency.

-Consider the advantages of power management and energy-saving options.

-Learn from case studies and benefit from ROI studies.

-Determine the appropriate investments to maximise vessel efficiency and fleet profitability.

Delegates will be drawn from ship owning and ship managing companies and include: fleet directors, fleet managers, technical directors and managers, newbuildings directors and managers, superintendents.

The event will also be attended by marine equipment manufacturers, bunker suppliers and marine solution providers showcasing the latest cutting-edge products and technologies.
