Experienced trader Olga Balaban is promoted to the role of Senior Bunker Trader and Sales Manager.

A/S Dan-Bunkering Ltd. - part of United Shipping & Trading Company (USTC) group - has announced that it has promoted experienced trader Olga Balaban [pictured] to Senior Bunker Trader and Sales Manager.

Olga previously worked as a bunker trader at Dan-Bunkering's head office in Middelfart, Denmark. Her new role is in connection with the launch of the company's new office in Monaco, which is expected to take place in February 2011.

Dan-Bunkering first announced that it would be opening an office in Monaco towards the end of December. The company said it was looking to launch a new operation in the principality 'in order to provide even greater service to customers in the southern part of Europe'.

Earlier this month, Dan-Bunkering announced the appointment of Jesper Møller Christensen as Managing Director of the new Monaco operation, Dan-Bunkering (Monaco) S.A.M..

The company added that it expects to recruit additional personnel to work at its Monaco office in the near future.
