Praxis says Hamburg launch is 'strategic'

International trading firm aims to add value to customers with launch of office in maritime hub.

International bunker trading firm Praxis Energy Agents has said that the recent launch of its office in Hamburg was a strategic decision aimed at enhancing its services to customers.

The company opened its German office earlier this month. It is the company’s fourth branch following the establishment of offices in Athens, New York and Singapore.

George Diakoumakos, a Senior Trader with years of industry experience, will oversee management of the Hamburg branch.

Commenting on the launch, Diakoumakos said “The recent opening of our office in Hamburg is strategic in placing our firm in four of the most important maritime clusters and demonstrates our fundamental commitment to enhance our services from nomination to delivery.”

"Distinct relationships and long-standing alliances with suppliers and business partners allow Praxis to support marine fuel procurements and effectively handle business as a proven, reliable trader," Praxis said in a statement.
