Bunker Index is pleased to announced that a list of upcoming events in 2010 has been published in its events section located at www.bunkerindex.com/events.

In a busy schedule for 2010, the year kicks off with a seminar in January entitled: "The Fuel Management, Ship Performance and Energy Efficiency - Understanding Design & Operational Aspects of Energy Savings for Shipping", organised by Lloyds Maritime Academy.

Event highlights include the Platts European Bunker Fuel Markets Conference to be held in Rotterdam on 14-15 April 2010, which will cover topics such as credit risk, hedging, cleaner fuels and emissions targets.

Also to be held in April is the BI Norwegian School of Management's 31st International Bunker Conference to be held in Stockholm.

Meanwhile, the Singapore International Bunkering Conference 2010 (SIBCON) is expected to draw the largest number of conference delegates this year when the biennial event is held in October following record attendance figures at the last SIBCON event in 2008.
