Marine fuel supplier and trader Propeller Fuels Limited is hiring a bunker trader to strengthen its Singapore-based trading activities, according to a recent recruitment notice.
The role is focused on expanding the company’s global marine fuel business through new client development while maintaining relationships with existing customers, including shipowners, charterers and operators. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling contract negotiations and spot enquiries, as well as overseeing the operational execution of bunker deliveries.
Propeller Fuels said the position involves monitoring bunker market conditions, pricing movements and regulatory developments, alongside conducting marketing outreach and travel to support business growth. The trader will also work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient supply chain coordination and compliance with international maritime regulations.
The company is seeking candidates with strong commercial and negotiation skills, supported by experience in sales, contract management and supply chain operations. Analytical capability and an understanding of marine fuel market dynamics are also listed as key requirements. Previous bunkering experience is considered an advantage, though not a strict requirement.
The position offers a competitive remuneration package and opportunities for professional development within a growing global organisation.
Headquartered near Hull, UK, Propeller Fuels carries out physical bunker deliveries in numerous ports along the English and Scottish coastlines. It also has expanded its international footprint in recent years with offices in Athens, Dubai and Singapore.
According to the online job post, which was first created a day ago and no longer accepting invitations, there have been a total of 26 applicants for the role.
