Bunker Holding executive to address biofuels at Berlin event

Manja Ostertag, Head of Biofuels at Bunker Holding, is due to speak at the InventU Fuel Evolution Congress on September 16. She will participate in the 5th Biofuels Forum, focusing on technological innovation, regulatory developments, and commercial strategies in biofuels.

The forum will examine how these factors are shaping biofuels' role in decarbonisation efforts across the energy sector.

"Biofuels are no longer a future option; they are an important component of today's fuel mix. The challenge now is scaling production, ensuring reliable supply chains, and integrating biofuels into global markets at pace," Ostertag said.

She added: "I look forward to discussing how innovation and collaboration can help us leverage the full potential of biofuels and support the low-carbon transition."

Other speakers at the event, where industry players will share insights on investment opportunities and market trends, include Frederic Meyer, Strategy and Decarbonization Director at TotalEnergies Marine Fuels; and Captain Samir Fernandez, Director - Marine Fuel Solutions and Trading at Moeve.
