Bunker vessel set for dry dock in Chile


The Agunsa Capella is due to enter dry dock at the end of next week.

Chilean bunker supplier Agencias Universales S.A. (Agunsa) has confirmed that its vessel, the Agunsa Capella, is due to enter dry dock at the end of next week.

The oil products tanker is scheduled to undergo a class renewal inspection, which is carried out every 5 years.

The dry dock period is due to start on 25th September, with the vessel expected to return back to service by 20th October.

Built in 2008, the 2147-deadweight-tonne (dwt) tanker has a gross tonnage of 1543. Its home port is listed as Valparaiso.

The Agunsa Capella carries out deliveries of IFO 380 (RMG 380), IFO 180 (RME 180) and low-sulphur marine gas oil (MGO LS) in Quintero Bay, Valparaiso, San Antonio, Lirquen, Talcahuano, San Vicente and Coronel.

The company is also able to arrange truck deliveries in Arica, Puerto Angamos, Antofagasta, Talcahuano, San Vicente, Puerto Montt and Punta Arenas.

According to ship-tracking data, the Agunsa Capella is curently located at the port of Quintero, Valparaiso Province, around 30 kilometres north of Valparaiso.
