The average monthly price of 380 centistoke (cSt) intermediate fuel oil (IFO) in Singapore fell for the second consecutive month in December, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380 cSt average at the world's leading bunker port decreased by $47, or 20.1 percent, to $180 per tonne last month, down from $227 per tonne in November. It is the lowest figure since Bunker Index began publishing monthly Singapore 380 cSt averages in April 2008.

December saw Singapore's best-selling fuel grade record a $65 low-to-high differential with a price range of $154 to $219 per tonne. The lowest price of $154 per tonne was recorded on December 23, whilst the month's highest price of $219 per tonne was being quoted on December 1.
