180 cSt average plummeted 43.6% in 2015


Bunker Index reveals the average 180 cSt bunker price in 2015.



The average global price of 180 centistoke (cSt) fuel in 2015 was $350.10 per tonne, according to Bunker Index price data.

In order to calculate the average price, Bunker Index took into account all the daily 180 cSt port assessment prices published on the site in 2015.

The 180 cSt average was $271.04, or 43.6 percent lower than the $621.14 per tonne figure recorded in 2014.

The lowest 180 cSt price seen in 2015 was $89 per tonne, whilst the highest was $765 per tonne.
