Navios Maritime Partners L.P. has announced that it has taken delivery of the Nave Orbit, a 2026-built Aframax/LR2 product tanker with a capacity of 117,012 deadweight tonnes.

The vessel, delivered as part of the company’s newbuilding programme, is described by Navios as LNG- and methanol-ready, as well as alternative maritime power (AMP)-ready — a configuration that allows vessels to connect to shore-side electricity supply while in port, reducing exhaust emissions at berth.

According to Navios, the Nave Orbit has been designed with “the latest environmentally friendly technology” to optimise energy efficiency and safety, and to support the company’s decarbonisation objectives.

Navios Maritime Partners is a US publicly listed owner and operator a diversified fleet of dry bulk, container and tanker vessels.
