LNG dual-fuel tanker delivered to Capital Ship Management

Jiangsu New Times Shipbuilding (NTS) reports that it has delivered an LNG dual-fuel product/crude oil tanker to Capital Ship Management Corp.

The closing ceremony for the handover of the 112,500-deadweight-tonne (dwt) Athinagoras took place in the meeting room on the eighth floor of the New Times Office Building on 6 August.

On the same day, Patroklos I — a 73,500-dwt crude/product oil tanker assigned hull number 0307375 — was accepted by Dynacom Tankers Management.

New Times Shipbuilding, based in Jingjiang, Jiangsu province, is part of China’s Sinopacific Shipbuilding Group.

Capital Ship Management operates a diversified fleet comprising crude and product tankers — including VLCC, Suezmax, Aframax/LR2 and MR/Handy vessels — as well as dry-bulk carriers and container ships. Dynacom Tankers Management focuses exclusively on tanker operations, managing a fleet of crude and product tankers.
