Crude:

Oil prices fell on Friday after Saudi Arabia said that there is not a need for a summit of producing countries' heads of state to defend prices.

Saudi Arabia is reported to believe that a summit by oil producers would fail to produce concrete action towards defending oil prices. The comments followed a meeting of Gulf Arab oil ministers with Qatar's emir in Doha, at which a Venezuelan proposal for an OPEC and non-OPEC summit was discussed.

Bunker Market:

Due to loadings of VLCCs, prompt barges tight. Gap between prices due to different market visions from suppliers, plus a still quiet market.
