The average price of 380 centistoke (cSt) fuel oil in Fujairah decreased by $41 per tonne, or 11.7 percent, during the month of July, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380 cSt average at the Middle East's leading bunker port fell to $308 per tonne, down from $349 per tonne in June, during a month that saw Fujairah's best-selling fuel grade record a $59 low-to-high price range of $284 to $343 per tonne.

The $308-per-tonne average is the second-lowest since April 2009, whilst July's $41 price drop is the most significant since January.
