FEFC announces new BAF for July


Bunker Adjustment Factor to change from next month for member lines.



The Far Eastern Freight Conference (FEFC) have announced the following changes to the Bunker Adjustment Factor from July 2008.

To/From Mediterranean and West Coast European Region:
The BAF applicable for the month of July 2008 will be USD 610.00 per TEU/USD 30.50 W/M LCL.

To/From the UK, North West Continent, Scandinavia and Baltic Sea Region:
The BAF applicable for the month of July 2008 will be USD 610.00 per TEU/USD 30.50 W/M LCL plus additional USD 11.00 per TEU/USD 0.55 W/M Low Sulphur Fuel Surcharge.

There are currently 17 member lines of the FEFC. They include ANL Container Lines Pty Ltd, CMA CGM SA, APL Co Pte Ltd., Hapag-Lloyd AG, Maersk Line and MSC - Mediterranean Shipping Co. SA.
