GIB promotes senior trader to India MD


Company decides to 'change the leadership in order to boost the performance level of the office'.



Glander International Bunkering (GIB) has announced that Ajay Menon [pictured] has been appointed managing director of Glander International Bunkering (India) Private Limited. Prior to the promotion, he was Senior Bunker/Lubricant Trader and Team Leader at the firm's Dubai office.

Commenting on the news, Glander International Bunkering said: "Ajay is a native of Kerala and has an MBA from Warwick University, UK. He is the longest-serving employee of the Glander International Bunkering Group and has been working from the Dubai office.

"The company has made the decision to change the leadership in order to boost the performance level of the office and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the group."

Managing Director and CEO of the Glander International Bunkering Group, Christoffer Berg Lassen, remarked: "I would like to congratulate our longest serving team member on this promotion. It has been very well deserved through the hard work, dedication and loyalty that Ajay has given the company in his many years of working here.
