GIB Mumbai now 'fully operational' as a private limited company


Glander International Bunkering (India) Private Limited is formed after having previously operated as a liaison office.



Glander International Bunkering (GIB) group has announced that it has registered its Mumbai office as private limited, following what it describes as "a reasonable period of operations as a liaison office in order to understand the local market".

"The company has adapted to completely integrate the requirements of international, domestic clients and suppliers," Glander International Bunkering said in a statement.

In total, Glander International Bunkering has six offices worldwide located in Mumbai, Dubai, Singapore, Florida, Brazil and Geneva. The offices provide bunker and lubricant trading and brokering services to clients in all major ports worldwide.

The India office is to be headed by managing director Ajay Menon, who will be supported by the existing team. The company's contact details remain the same.

Commenting on the new set-up, Christoffer Berg Lassen, managing director and CEO of Glander International Bunkering Group, said: "In order to offer service consistency amongst the group's worldwide offices, we have now formed a fully operational office, enabling us to offer comprehensive bunker and lubricant trading/brokering services. We pride ourselves in being able to provide our facilities across all time zones. We have dedicated traders who are willing to go the distance to deliver service requests of their clientele in the most efficient and effective manner."
