The Bunker Index MGO (BIX MGO) - the worldwide daily marine gas oil (MGO) average quoted in US$ per metric tonne - rose by $11.96 per tonne, or 1.7 percent, during the seven-day period between April 10 and April 17, according to Bunker Index price data.

The end-of-week global price was $705.67 per tonne on April 17 compared to $693.71 per tonne on April 10. It is the first weekly increase in the worldwide MGO average since March 27 and only the second in the last seven weeks.
